The royal family thought they’d made it out alive following their scrap with Harry and Meghan. Unluckily for them, prince Andrew has stepped in to plunge them back into chaos. Andrew, the late queen’s favourite son, wants to overturn a settlement he paid to Virginia Giuffre.
She says he sexually abused her when she was 17 years old while being trafficked by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—a close friend of Andrew. The paedo prince settled a case last February after a six-month legal battle for an undisclosed sum estimated to be up to £9.6 million.
Now Andrew wants an apology, and to be welcomed back into royal life. Andrew has previously said he has no recollection of meeting Giuffre. But there are many obscurities in his recollections, from a supposed excursion to Pizza Express to not being able to sweat. And the prince still defends his friendship with Epstein. Meanwhile Ghislaine Maxwell—Epstein’s former partner—has said that a photo of her “dear friend” Andrew with herself and Giuffre was “a fake”.
She’s currently serving 20 years for procuring girls for Epstein. Andrew’s attempts to wheedle himself out of disgrace are set to clash with his brother king Charles’s coronation in May. As millions are wasted on the event, don’t forget the corruption, scandal and bigotry that ensnares this putrid family.
